Are those interchangeable?
Hi, family!
I have question, answer for i didnt find. I have new addition to my mercedes family, 1999 E55 =) but door panels are pretty damaged. Does facelifted W210 door panels are compatible with pre-facelift 1999 W210?

From what I heard they are.
Suppose only front is different, but never hurts to measure.

If measuring is no option, other way would be getting both VIN and check part # on EPC.
If the numbers match, you are 100% sure.
If they don't that might be due to option, while metal could still fit, so more checking.

Now - that is downright funny - seriously - there will be a part# on the back of the door panel - if you remove the door panel you will find it - and have some extra plastic "poppers" at hand since very easy some of the originals will break.
However door panel part# is also keyed to interior.
The the E55 standard-leather/upgraded leather interior different that "standard" W210 - E55 possible match with "Sport" ie E430.....
Are you going for function or for look ?
Keep the beat !

I support post 7, as I remember way back someone asked the same question and then wanted to know about a wrench and brushes I made, in any event I think he is correct----sound familiar!!

In one post you can't go anywhere without VIN and DAS, than you take 3 words for granted
