Engine power loss when hot
Hi,
My w210 e230 starts quickly when cold and hot , it runs smoothly engine and transmission.
When I drive it cold the engine is powerful and runs great, as soon as it warms up past 60 deg Celsius it starts to loose power till it reaches normal operating temp. when it is cold it goes back to being powerful.
I had a bad MAF, camshaft sensor, O2, throttle body sensor and a couple more sensors which I changed them all oem. changed vacuum hoses under intake mainfold, new fuel pressure regulator and injectors.
No fault codes , no catalytic convertor, new muffler, spark plugs, air filter, etc...
What can the problem be ?????
I read that a dirty fuel tank strainer can be the problem , but if its clogged the engine should always suffer from lack of power right??
Thanks

1922 Ford Model T / no OBD
I would hook up fuel pressure gauge and observe the changes.
The cheap set from Harborfreigh works.
