Pay attention to the tranny - correct fluid, fresh filter, and replace the tranny adapter plug.

Enjoy new to you car. Sounds like good deal as 15 years old wagons are often run down.
Learn how to read AC codes and sensors by using climatronic.
I just gave pointers to other member in parallel topic, so you can follow it

Follow up question., does any one know if there was any kind of OEM trailer hitch for the w210 wagon or a OEM bike rack of any sort? or any one can point me in the good direction of getting one?

Cluster takes 2 bend wires and few seconds to remove.
Plan to replace all constantly working bulbs as they very likely will shake broke during removal.
Hitches were available for wagons, but at premium price. OEM if exist - only in Europe and Curts in USA.
Having roof railing you can easy install roof bike rack, what is highly recommended over body mounted racks.

Thank you man. I did notice the cluster speedomter works erratic. when stopped shows 40 mph/various, but when driving it acts up like it jumps/ slips to move the needle. i use the digital reader for now but looking to see how bad it is.

A cheap repair is to get a used one from Autohaus . The have a facility in Florida and Maryland. I paid about 150$US for it. Also on Ebay they sell a cluster removal tool kit which includes the radio removal keys in the kit. Kits are about 5-10 bucks.

When you pull the cluster to update/repace bulbs - you can use MAF spray to clean connectors - that "might" be the "erratic" issue - before you decide to reapir/replace - if you buy "used" cluster MUST be same part#/cluster# - and mileage "normally" can't be changed on a cluster...

Keep the beat !
