1998 E320 sedan AC blower problem
1998 E320 sedan. AC was working fine then when driving the blower started to oscillate on it's own. Will go from high to low without touching a button. Turn automatic AC off and cool air starts to blow from the defrost vents at about medium speed. Turn the car off and air still blows through the defrost vents for about 10 seconds then quits. Start the car and the defrost vents start to blow again even though the unit is off. If I turn the automatic AC on it blows cold air but the blower still oscillates from high to low. Anyone ever have this problem and how did you solve? Thanks in advance!

Defrost is default mode that the system divert to with low vacuum.
Sounds like you have vacuum leak and with more throttle the engine is not giving enough suction.
Check for loose vacuum connections under the hood and at the firewall.
