fuel tank blow back 99 e430

hi there
any one ever experience this
was filling my fuel tank the other day and had some back pressure on the gas nozzle pulled it out and all kinds of air pressure came out of the tank
the 3rd time tank was full and dumped about a gallon of fuel out before i could put the fuel cap back on and it still pored out the drain vent.
whats wrong or what was done to fix it.
99 e430 124000 k on it
thanks in advance

Kinked tank breather hose?
Look under the car in filler area.

Happened to me with my '01 E430 shortly after I had bought the car---I heard a little "bump" under the car, then seconds later a huge amount of gasoline shot out of the filler tube. It hasn't happened since then, but I am VERY cautious when I fill up now.

Plumbing can do very mysterious things. Could be spider web on new car, or whatever.
My 1 year old house develop pipe hammering after 10 months.
It happens only on hot water piping and happens on all 11 faucets we have in the house.
I might not be expert plumber, but I am professional and have professional friends who hear it and have no clue.
Other than checking water heater screen, cutting the walls open is other solution .
