Central locking module location
Hi guys my dads W210 (E240 I think) has the central locking that stopped working. Radio also stopped working and not sure if related.
I know it runs on the vacuum pump system but does it also have a central locking main module somewhere or something called
CENTRAL LOCKING SIGNAL CONTROL MODULE. the code on wiring diagram is A133.
Car is at an auto electrician but he isn't sure where this module is found..
thank you

From what I heard, the module is inside PSE housing.
Better tell your dad to take car to mechanic who knows something about MB before this one will butcher something.

Out Of Control!!
You have been reading too much HS at Ben's Wurld--there is no central locking control module as such-----there is a PSE unit that controls the V and P to lock and unlock the doors trunk and gas flap----that unit is located under the passenger side rear seat enclosed in foam------change mechanics if he does not know the location of the unit he like the pierogie knows nothing about testing the unit and you will be wasting your money!!
PS: your radio has nothing to to do with the MB central locking system

Thank you.
He was looking at the unit/piece that sits under the rear view mirror (not sure of name) and checking the wiring in there.
So basicaly the thing he should be looking for is the pump itself. Yeah?

Out Of Control!!
The central locking is a complete system with loads of electromechanical actuators located all over the car----he has to have the diagnostic equipment to locate the fault---if not he will be asking you more questions about where things are---change mechanics!!
