E300dt -98 do not crank

Hi,
i have problem with the car after it has been without battery for some months.
I put in a new battery and i put the key in ignition a can hear a sound, i think the steerlock, when i turn it to "ignition mode" the instrument comed to life, and when i turn it to crank mode, notting more happens.
can someone give me some info where to start?
does the immobilizer have some lights or something thats indicates when it works or faults?
a friend of mine have two led lights in the mirror but mine car dont have them.

The mirror LED were on 1997 models.
Start with displaying car voltage on climatronic and see how it change when you put load on it.
Move gear shifter back and fort to exercise neutral safety switch.

Hi

i checked the voltage in climatronic (11.9v)
and with fluke on battery (12.5v) i think thats ok, i also tryed to exercise the gear selector, but i think it's working ok, with the selektor in R or D it is not possible to take the ignition key out, only in P.
Is my next step to open up the K40 multirelay? Or do someone have any sugestions?

Climatronic normally show 0.5 v less, but 12.5v is not good static voltage.
If you don't have load meter, turn on all the headlights, blower and rear defroster and then check the voltage.
20 seconds troubleshooting beats 20 minutes of pulling the car apart.
