What is the best aftermarket wiper blades for a W210?
Hello all,
What's the best aftermarket blade for fitment quality on these cars? Or am I stuck getting the Bosch OEM blades, which don't seem to last all that great. Which brand/model, and where to buy them the cheapest? Thanks.

MBWorld Fanatic!
here's an anecdotal wiper experience. I bought my 1999 car in 2003. It is
parked in the garage when not in use. It is rarely kept outdoors and if so,
only for a few days and then it's back in the garage and/or under a car cover.
Wiper is quiet, streak free, and wipes very evenly. It is still wearing the
same wiper blade, though I have 2 spare Boschs waiting to be deployed
when needed.
I clean the windshield regularly. Every 4 mos, I spray silicone on a rag,
remove the blade and wipe it in see-saw fashion for about 10 mins.
Spray is used liberally.
Unfortunately, I don't have a direct answer to your question.

In my experience good quality means a better wipe, but not necessarily longer operation. When wipe quality deteriorates you replace the blades.
Whereas a cheap wiper is consistent in its crappy wipe for its whole operating life :-)
PS: I like to think about wiper blades the same as tires, for example. Do more expensive tires last longer? No, but they provide better grip.

However, the rear riper arm is a standard size, and I've been able to fit multiple aftermarket wiper blades on it. I guess since the front is a single blade, it's thicker and heavier duty than a dual wiper system. Just passing on what I found out, cheers!

For the front wiper I've used Motomaster Reflex replacement blades, which are my go to for my other vehicles. Problem is the front blade is an in-between length, and you miss that 1/2" as you can't go to the next size up on the aftermarket blades. I ended up going back to the stock wiper with a refill blade and it's really the way to go on these cars.

I have owned my 2000 E320 since new. One thing I have found is it is best to buy OEM parts. Especially, wiper blades and batteries. I only buy MB wiper blades.

The OEM Bosch are available from on Amazon. I've found that to be the best fit and work the beat

I live in the rainy Pacific NW and have been in the habit of changing wiper blades on my vehicles twice a year. For my 2000 E320 I go to Wally World and buy Rain-X Expert Fit "Hybrid" (part # H-24). It fits fine and does a good job of moving water off the glass. I never have to worry about noisy wipers on my cars since I swap them out regularly. (After reading the previous post I ordered the Bosch via Amazon just to check it out.)
