Question help - center console removal

I just received a replacement window/side view mirror adjustment switch that is situated on the center console of my 2001 E320. Can anyone help me figure out how to disassemble the console so I can switch out the old switch for the new one?

Open the cup holder and grab the bottom edge of the wood trim panel that hold the window switches. Pull up on it to dislodge the trim ring around the shift knob. Pull the trim ring off and lift the wood panel up the rest of the way. Unplug the sockets to the window switch module and take the whole thing off. There are 2 sliding snaps that hold the switches to the bottom of he wood panel. Snap them down and remove the switches. Reinstall the new module in the reverse order.

Thank you E-Klasse. After reading your response, the switch was made in about 5 minutes.
