Parking Light/High Beam problem

Ok so the other day I notice that my high beams aren't on anymore... well, what I mean exactly is when I turn on my headlights, the 'idle' light in the high beam housing doesn't turn on.

I can turn on my high beams by pulling back on the lever where the turn signal thingie is located, but if I just turn on my 'parking lights' and not my 'headlights' nothnig comes out

(i.e. turn the knob once to get parking ligths and twice to get headlights on)

Is it a fuse? The bulbs are good and they work.. so...I dunno

Thanks for the help

There are actually two bulbs in that housing (the inner one): one is to turn on when you turn on the headlight, it's W5W, the other is highbeam (H7).

I think you need to replace your W5W, it's probably burn out.

That's what I thought, too...burned out parking light bulbs. But then thought it would be peculiar that both would go out at the same time, further thinking that something else upstream might be causing the problem.

Actually the left one went out first and then the right one went out a few days later. But thanks for the input, guys! I shall check it out... now, where is this bulb located? I can't see that well into the housing, but what I can see is that H7 bulb... where is this W5W located? Thanks again
