AMG style dead pedal

Got this dead pedal from Ultimate Pedals, they custom make them to your specs! It was only $80.00 and looks like the AMG pedal, they had it made and to my door within 1 week, not bad.

how did you attach it to the carpet? is the metal part a good match to the other pedals?

I screwed it in at the four corners, I painted the screws flat black to match the rubber parts. The metal is a really good match, it's shiny like the others pedals, you just can't tell in the picture.

Love that Stone Interior! ...and I don't care what anybody says. Your style + -/Phone & Folder/Up-Down buttons on the Steering Wheel are more intuitive & ergonomically designed & easier to use without looking than the new ones!

Looks great. I noticed you have the parking brake pad with the ovals. I just installed my pads in my E350 and used part number 203-430-00-84 (circle one) instead of 230-430-00-84 (oval one). I compared them at the dealer. The pad is only $8.

I was wondering why the parking brake pad had ovals instead of round ones. I'll order the right one today! Thanks for the info.!

How do those metal pedals attach to the pedals?
Are they mounted over the original rubber?

Thanks!

Take off the original rubber and slip these back on. Very simple. The gas pedal is a little more involved but still shouldn't take more that 5-10 min.

If and when you want to remove the dead pedal, the carpet tape will have left a very nasty gummy residue on the carpet, so don't think of it as a "temporary" or optional installation.

Nevermind. I searched for it. From dealer or oempartsdirect.com.

Are you talking about the '07s drivers side floor mat that has a flap that covers the dead pedal area?

The mat is different than others. It has no contrasting colored heel pad, or embroidered Tri Star, but does cover the dead pedal area.

I used white carpet tape that could be easily cleaned ..... but why would I take it off? ... I'm not going to pull the parts off to put on my next car.. I'm sure my 2009 E65 (or whatever it will be) wagon will come with them!

ultimate pedal.... looks exactly like my OEM AMG pedals...
