Problems with your New E?
We have heard from folks who have indicated some minor problems, some resolved and some not, some folks that have major problems, some resolved some not and folks with no problems. I think it would be interesting to guage the magnitude of minor and major problems occurring and the status of resolution. I would define major as being a car that is not driveable and minor as everything else.

Knock on wood ... I have an E320 and somehow, this engine doesn't seem to be having the same issues as the E500 ... which is a new engine for the E. I do hope that all the problems will be resolved ... soon ... to the owners' satisfaction.

Thanks, Saintvir. Have you responded to the other poll about being glad you got your new E?

I have a E240 delivered in Nov 02. The SRS warning light came on just 2 weeks after delivery. Had two components replaced in Jan 03. The wipers are very noisy when it is wiping continuously. The wing mirror signal lamp cover was cracked and it fogs up whenever I wash my car or it rains. The car pulls to the left constantly. I have sent in my car to the service center twice in two months. I need to send it in one more time to correct the last two problems when the signal lamp covers arrive. (God knows when)
