1997 e320 cold starting problem

Hi geltelmen, i'm new to the forum. i have a 1997 E320 which has a cold start problem. i have to crank the engine two or three times for about ten seconds before the car will start. when the car starts, there is a strong fuel smell. It run well once started, but if the car is turned off and sit for thirty minutes or longer you have to crank the engine a couple of times before it starts. any help will be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like a leaky fuel injector. You probably need to replace one or more of them.
