HID Installation Shop Recommendation? (Los Angeles)

Hi Everyone,

I just bought an HID kit from HIDextra, but I don't feel like installing it myself. I did an install on a previous car a long time ago and it was an incredible pain. Can anyone recommend a good shop in Los Angeles or Orange County?

Thanks!

Two really big counties. Where exactly are you? PM me if you're LA County near the ocean (Santa Monica, Malibu) It's an easy install, no sense in driving all over hell, imho.

not going to try to convince you to DIY, but this was the same set I bought from HIDExtra. Toughest part of the install is the metal bracket into the socket. you get that and you're home free on the rest of it.

good luck.

Thanks, I had a bad experience installing HIDs in my 2000 MR2 Spyder back when HID kits were just being introduced. Everything worked out since I'm pretty capable around cars, but nowadays I'd rather have someone else do it. It's too easy to make one mistake that leads to a lost hour.

the HIDExtra kit didn't work, so I returned it and they charged me a restocking fee...

Now I'm running an Onexx HID 4300k kit and it works really well. The only thing I found was quality isn't consistent and there seem to be plenty of knockoffs. I couldn't find their corporate website either. If you see them for $80, then I was told those were knockoffs. They should be $130, I think. I don't recommend the guys who installed mine because they ripped me off (California Tint in Rosemead). Try to find a supplier somewhere else.

Right next door to the woman selling tamales, the guy selling bootleg DVDs, and the shorties selling apple jacks.

btw, Pollyanna is dead. Kansas doesn't exist. And Toto is a fictional dog.
