Rattling noises from front drives side

I have a 2003 E500, 105,000 miles, and for some time now I've been get this rattling noise from the drivers side front suspension. Its the kind of noise you hear when you go over a a little rough patch of road. Feels like a tie rod or that kinda of noise. I've taken the car to the mechanic and nothing; he even showed me there was nothing loose, or a bad shock, or any visable issues. He even heard the noise but unable to locate it. Everything was tight. I get no sounds on smooth roads...any sugguestions? HELP!

Could be your suspension bearings. Dealer said they rattle over bumps when they are worn out

The issue with mine were the sway bar link/bushings

You might want to check Airmatic compressor bracket (55 in diagram) modified to resolve knocking/rumbling noise when driving over rough roads – part # 2113201843 (to comparison shop parts.com $42) & mounting hardware 2113270050 ($9).

Do you have pano? I have same thing and realize the pano creaks and cracks when going over bumps

I dont have the pano roof. I am taking the car to the shop, I'm getting the impression its a bushing or a stabalizer link, and its only from the drivers side. Thanks for your imput!!!

Hi Konigstiger---could you tell me a bit more about this fix. Sill after many months of this rattling, I feel you might have come up with the solution. Is this a DIY? I want to try it, any info is appreciated. Thanks!!
