Hi to all
I have W211 and i like to install AMG exhaust. It's possible to install from another car e.g. CLS, CL or SL klasses? Or i need find exhaust exactly from W211.

I'm sure some of the W211 AMG guys have their stock setups laying around. Post up in the Wanted Section, maybe you'll get lucky.

It will work don't worry. I had AMG exhaust on my E500 also. You can use E55/CLS55/C63 Exhaust.

Thankx. Only E,CLS and C can fitted on E klass?

Yes from what I know. The exhaust I had was off C63 and sounds the best.

Mine is off a CLS55. The cans fit right in, but the tips extend out past the bumper enough to make it unsightly. I had the tips cut off and rewelded on.

CLS55 muffler is a tad louder than the E55 one.

Dear djrabbi. Thanks 4 your replies. After few hours i found two donnors. But both of them are SL. One of SL 55 AMG R230 another SL 63 AMG but R231. Last question which exhaust will fit in W211 without some crazy modifications.

Been thinking about doing this as well. Would I need an AMG rear bumper or will I have to cut it to fit the tips?

R231 will not fit, SL55 will fit with no problems but they tips will need to be shortened as they have the same problem as CLS55.

Looking to add an exhaust to me E550, cam anyone please help me with the following question?


Will stock AMG exhaust off a 2008 Cl63 amg fit on my E550 4matic? I've read that C63,E63 and CLS will fit, does that mean the CL will fit aswell?

You can go either route but you do have to something to accommodate the tips.

So your 100% sure the cl amg exhaust will fit my car? Reason is I can buy a used cat back exhaust from someone but they have no idea if it will fit on my car...... so I need someones expertice with theses cars I know I will need the make cutout or swap the bumper with the rear amg (which is my choice).

I was only referring to the bumper. I don't know if the CL AMG mufflers will fit the W211 or not.
