Scotty Kilmer is a Moron
I can't even begin to list all of the ignorant and insanely dumb things he says in this video. He makes a few valid points about high maintenance and depreciation but c'mon. My god who is ACTUALLY this stupid, I realize he's old school but this dude has a few loose connections in that head of his. A mechanic of almost 5 decades that can't figure out how to put gas in a CLS550 then says there's something wrong with the engineers that designed the car...

I Agree! I particularly thought the part where he criticized the On-board computers was plain stupid. "Who wants a car that tells you that a bulb in the trunk is blown?" !

03 E500 and Corvette
I would have to agree with him. He never touched on SBC brakes, Airmatic failures, fuel leaks in the trunk, hot water heater valve failures, ball joints failing, pulling right, camber bolts and the list goes on and on. The $20,000 was pretty close to what my E500 was in warranty claims with SBC failures, being towed in, Airmatic failures having to remove the rear suspension, ball joints and on and on and on.
I think he was a little melodramatic but has a valid point. Why would you want to spend $$ to know the trunk light is burned out?
But what do I know anyway my wife doesn't agree with me either.

Just stop spreading his trash talk
You're feeding his media blitz strategy by talking about him. Ignore the fool, let his advertising income whither, and he'll dry up and blow away like all the other haters.... although there will always be the ones like a certain Chevy Driver on here who just want to rant and rage. Just don't give them the audience they crave!

You see the highest percentage mercedes on the road? Sales figures ensure that this is generally bull****, unless you happen to live in newport beach or similar.
You screwed up, now just admit it and move on.
