Bluetooth puck - B67875878 - Not Working SOLVED

Hi everyone - New member and owner of a W211 E200 K -2007 (facelift).
I just want to throw one problem to you guys that concerns the bluetooth puck in the armrest(B67875878), It does not power up for some reason (not blinking blue light) and the phone button on the headunit(Audio 20) gives me the message of "no phone".
there was a thread here about this problem but no solution

https://mbworld.org/forums/m-class-w...-no-power.html

Do I need to go over to the dealer to get it activated?
- Bought it used btw and don't know if it works but the other owner said it was fine.
Thanks in advance

Have you gone through the pairing process between your phone and puck?

If not, here are the instructions if you need them.

The puck should turn on when the pairing button is held down for 2-3 seconds.

Sounds like a defective puck or connector. It should draw power from the car, so no batteries in the puck itself. At least not this one:

http://www.mercedes-benz-mobile.com/...2009-11-20.pdf

I don't suppose you could find a similar car to check the puck out on?

Maybe check the online used cars sites like autotrader/carmax/cars.com and find a car to "look" at and bring your puck with you ;-)

I agree with Honcho. When I purchased my MB it did not have a puck. So, I purchased one off fleabay, installed it, and it lit up. There was nothing special that was required other than pairing with my phone.

Check the fuse. I am not sure of the location on your model, but you should have no problem locating it with the fuse card.

If the puck is blinking, I would think it has power. My puck blinks constantly like that when the phone has not been paired to it. Pairing is done through the phone itself, not just by the puck. Check the instructions for your particular phone as to how to pair a device. Those pucks have a five-digit code to enter when the phone calls for it in the initial pairing process-62872 (MBUSA on your phone pad).

Found nothing on the fuse card about phone or bluetooth, at the fusebox on the driver side and the one in the boot.

Is the teleaid system functional? When you turn the headlamps on do the i and wrench symbols light up? If not, check the fuse for teleaid system. Also check all the cables for cuts, breaks or abrasions.

Solved-
Only needed to get the headunit(audio 20) programmed/coded for the phone to activate it and there is no special fuse for the phone itself, if there is no phone icon on your audio 20 screen you prob need to get it coded to be recognized
Thanks

Can you please share how did you code/program to be recognized? Is it do it yourself or by dealer? I have the similar situation, no power, no phone icon on radio 20 screen.

Sounds like he needed coding using the Mercedes diagnostic computer (star system.) They are expensive so only the dealers and the really good Indy shops have them. Some members such as myself have one so post your location and you might get lucky.

I have a similar issue. I was hoping I could get some feedback here. I have a 2002 clk amg which has a b67875878. When i bought the car the puck system worked. I had a iphone 4s. I got into the car last year and noticed the puck wouldn't light up (blue light). I now have a iphone 5s. Althought since it looks like the puck has not power and no blue light I don't think the cell phone model matters at this point. When I originally noticed the puck wouldn't light up (2 years ago) the comand headunit showed these screens.

Tele --> TEL Error Error: No Phone
NAVI Info --> No CD Insert NAVI-DC only

I had cd issues at that time also.

I thought it may be an issue with the optical loop. I bought a optical loop bypass coupler from the dealer and bypassed the cd changer.

Now I have the comand unit adding a new screen (which is expected) and still showing the same two screens from before.

CD --> CD Changer: NO CD changer CD Drive: No CD

Bypassing the CD in the optical loop didn't seem to bring my puck light back on. Still no bluetooth or phone capabilities. My radio has worked just fine during all of the issues.

Next plan is to take a look at the Telephone system fuses again to dbl check I didn't miss a blown fuse.

Any help with this would be much appreciated. Headed to look at fuse boxes/fuses again.

Thanks!

I have the same car. You can get either the B67876131 or the B67875878 on eBay. The first one is the newer version and is typically a bit more, than the second one listed which is the older model. They should both work though. The first one, B67876131 is usually a little over $100.
