2004 E500
Sport Modes not working
The Sport Modes I and II on my 2004 E-500 have stopped working. Best I can figure out from reviewing posts in this forum, it's part of the Airmatic DC air suspension with Adaptive Damping System (ADSII) Standard Airmatic Dual Control. It seems to be permanently stuck in Comfort mode. So far, independent repair shop has not been able to trouble shoot the cause. Any ideas?

how do you know its not working? Does it not allow you to switch between them? Does the DIC not show them switching? Or does the switch just not show lights?

The lights go on and off fine, but when driving you can tell that the suspension does not change. Also, the shop diagnostic computer showed the system not working. BTW, there don't seem to be any air leaks, and you can raise and lower the height of the car using the switch on the console.
