How do dynamic seats work?
I'm curious if anyone knows the setup behind the dynamic seat option-
Specifically, where does the input come from and how precise is that measurement?
Is it a gyroscope/sensor from the ECU??
Is the data available realtime to anyone with STAR or a code reader?

It has sensors in the seats which read your butt movement.. The Data goes to Mercedes Servers in Germany. A special software reads your butt data movements and generates unique massage code specifically designed for your rear end which it sends to your car's onboard computer wirelessly through space satellite.

What I notice is that turning angle mainly affects the amount of air pumped into the seat side bolsters. During long turns the minute I add an extra angle the more I feel the side bolsters fill up.

Yeah, I'd love to see actual documentation on that one Despicable Merc... You make it sound like Siri is massaging my tush.
Until then, I'm hoping for a documented answer that fits into the not-so-consumer-tech savvy MB routine.

The lower half of my seat doesn't always fill up with air... Perhaps I have a damaged "butt cup".

An a$$ massage sounds pleasant, (I do so very much enjoy the butt warmer in my seats), but for driving I'd prefer the Active Body Control system for seating comfort.

Is that the Active Body Control system in a nutshell?

Because of this thread, I've been paying attention to when and how aggressive the lumbar supports fill up with air during any turning. Basically when I'm going speeds above 15mph that's when any air is filled. When I'm cruising 45mph-ish and sway side to side like a drunk car the lumbar supports fill up alternately rather quickly. All in all I feel like it gives me a false sense of security when cornering hard at stock ride height and 16s w/ 225 Michelins.
