I think it is the knibiling pin connected to the whatyamacalal it bar.

Grinding noise

you didn’t specify if this grinding noise occurs while turning left or turning right because that can help define where the noise is coming from. My guess it’s a wheel bearing from your description but knowing this are you going to take it into the shop anyway or you going to try and fix it yourself? A bad wheel bearing can be loaded more when turning towards the bad bearing usally it will make more noise when perforrming a 90° turn. Also if it only occurs in one turning direction the tire could be rubbing on something that came loose also pay attention as to whether not you are applying brakes while you are turning
