Most likely not your problem nevertheless check crankshaft bearings although they are not the first choice for start up knock they can cause intermittent knocking. Quick test, remove v-belt if knocking still occurs they can be ruled out if knocking is gone they may need to be looked at.

I doubt its anything on the v-belt causing it but was planning on testing that this week when I had a few minutes.
