Driver foot light

Its about my w211 e270. Driver foot light did not light up and today I removed the driver lower panel and surprise....the connector that supposed to be plugged into de lamp is missing. I really want to make that foot light work....what should I do?

Are you serious-----did you find any loose wires without a connector while you were rating around the door panel---plus have you taken off the opposite door panel to determing the connection??---

My question to you is------why are you NOW just noticing the lack of lighting---do you only drive during the day??

I noticed that the light is not working but I was convice that the bulb is broken. And...yes i removed the passenger lower panel in order to see the conector type. My question is: could i make some strips in order to light the bulb up?

make two strips--- solder the ends and then solder the other end to the light
