Need some help locating two sensors
Where is the Ac temperature switch and the Ac pressure switch? I'm looking to replace them because my fan does not go on at all and I had the Ac conpressor relieve the system of pressure a few months ago, it was posted in my thread.
I changed the dryer, that mounts up front under the radiator & condensor, and there is still too much pressure in the system and no difference in the problem. I think it is one of those switches that may have malfunctioned.
A little bit of help please. The parts I'm talking about are:
Ac pressure switch/sensor 0045429018
Ac temp switch/sensor
2208300772
Also I just want to make sure those are the correct PNs for the system under the hood, not one of the interior ambient temp sensor.

0045429018 (350 in diagram) registers refrigerant pressure in the high pressure circuit, 2208300772 (330) registers temperature of the air flow emerging from the evaporator.

You are wasting your time replacing all those parts without testing the system----simply have your AC guy put a set of gages on to understand the issues----Ideally he will also have DAS Xentry which will quickly determine what sensor if any is faulty!! Isolate the problem first!!!

Thanks for the quick responses guys. My guy has a modis and is not around and I cannot wait for him. I'm afraid if I go to the dealer I will have a bad experience with my out of warranty vehicle. Last time it went in for a wheel and tire repair/replacement, the wheel was fixed poorly (which I still have problems with) and they killed the battery, and burnt the cluster out, and claimed zero responsibility.
I am very automotive ly inclined, I just do not have any computers that would work with this vehicle other than the simple code reader.
FYI, this is my original problem that I am attending to now.

All I've done was replace the dryer and attempt to add freon, and it took a little bit in and that's all. Still not working and making bad noise at certain rpms. It is also hissing loudly constantly inside the cabin while the Ac compressor is plugged in. I've had the AC compressor unplugged since the AC issue in that thread. Last nights check, proved that the electric fan does not go on at all, with it plugged in or not.

So I guess you guys have no idea what my next step should be. I'm super busy so I think I might just have to bite the bullet and call my local service dept...

A/C problem
It's common for seals in the compressor to wear out, and kind of difficult to diagnos without U/V leak detection dye. But if you add freon and if gets colder then suddenly leaks out maybe after you hit some road bumps you need to replace the compressor. Generally speaking you turn on the A/C from the dash but then check the compressor clutch to see if its engaging and disengaging every 10 secs or so, there is not enough freon in the system. You can't change the dryer out and reseal the system and simply add freon, you must connect a vacuum pump to draw it down for 1/2 hr with a 6cfm or better pump to remove all air and then check for vacuum loss with the pump off , of course you also need gauges for this. And by the way if the vacuum holds its no guarantee the seals are good, you must pressurize with nitrogen too. And if replacing the compressor remove the orifice tube and blow out the system too with nitrogen. This is at least $1000 worth of A/C tools. If you don't draw a vacuum before adding freon ice will form from moisture and clog the orifice tube. Also acid can form from excessive moisture and eat the aluminum tubes causing leaks.

Car is at a dealer now, got a phone call saying its $355 so far because there is no refrigerant in the system and they have to check for leaks with the dye. In the mean time emptied the system and replaced the drier, then attempted to add r134, but decided to stop and bring it to them. Opinions? I'm calling them in the morning.
