Hey everyone. I am soon going to replace my front brake pads and front rotors. I have read many of the older posts in regards to this procedure, but I have a quick question.

Have most of you guys just unplugged the SBC before getting to work, or have any of you tried to follow the "correct" procedure done without a computer disabling it?

This is the document I found. I'm just curious to see if anyone else has attempted this method or if you have better success by just unplugging the SBC by hand?

Do a search you will find all the details, but quick dirty.. power everything off unplug. But search to find details.

That is the official MB method without Star and it does work. Like many things MB does it might be overkill.
