2005 E320
2005 W211 Comand unit monitor

Hi,
I was cleaning interior of my 2005 E320 and inadvertently sprayed some Meguiar cleaner containing Isopropyl alcohol over my Comand unit monitor. As a result my screen lost some resolution and looks corrupted. The unit works fine, no problem. Is the monitor repairable or replaceable? Or do I need to pay for entire Comand unit?. I live in Los Angeles, CA. I attached a picture to see and compare.

Thank you

Another member removed the anti-glare coating then installed new screen cover, see here https://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-w...d-damaged.html

The problem is not in the coating itself. Somehow, the monitor didn't like Meg

uiar's spray and shorted losing colors and resolution. It's all whited-out and blurry. I wonder if resetting would help at all. The Comand unit works perfectly, only the monitor suffered some glitch.
