Hi,
FYI, this particular projector fog light is using 9006 = HB4 size. I don't see any real issue if you want to put in standard 35W HID (not higher than that though), however, we would recommend LED bulbs which run cooler such as:
LED FOG LIGHT BULB
and would have no error code after install. Thanks.

Can you explain why the headlights show they do not work with the E63. They are not structurally different that I can find on them. What makes them unable to work?

The reason why the headlight might not work on the E63 is because most of the E63 all have with factory xenon and AFS (adaptive front light system) feature, while our headlight is for factory halogen model, that is why it does not work. The size/shape fits just fine, but the connector and the features are not going to match, thus don't work.

I like the smoke side marker lights, but I'm worried about bulbs. I want amber, but the white are listed as "CANBUS No Error". Am I going to get warning messages with the amber bulbs? Are they going to get hot and melt the smoked lens? Does anyone make Amber LED "CANBUS No Error bulbs?

Are the set screws for the projector fogs available separately?
a few turns to adjust and it fell out

The Canbus LED bulbs get warm when in use, but not to the point that would melt anything. We unfortunately only carry the canbus LED bulbs in White color, not in amber.
