Looking for VMI

Hi all,
I recently bought a 2005 e320 and i am looking for VMI for my car. Can anyone help me with this?

I think you just need to go to your local dealer with the reg, and have them print it out. That's what I did for both of mine.

I tried that. My local dealer wont give me any info about the vehicle. He said he cant release that info its confidential. I asked him how is it confidential when they release that info to carfax. He offered me to do a b service for $540

Try a different dealer. I went in person and had them do a PPI which cost me under $200. I told them I wanted the VMI and they also told me about the confidential part, but I just told them to black out the owner's info which they did with a sharpie, it was just the previous owner's name. Otherwise if they didn't do it, I'd just go to a different dealer as I told them that I heard most other dealers will give it out. So after consulting with someone else, he just printed it out and I made the appointment. I suppose I could have just canceled the appointment afterwards if all I was after was the VMI, but I went ahead and let them do the PPI.

THere is just one dealer in my city and it carries very bad reputation in indianapolis. I am calling out of state dealer to see if they can give me info on phone
