New to this......

Recently bought a MY09 e350, I moved from BMW to MB and feel like a fish out of water....anyway I am looking for spare, nav dvd's, and any helpful info that would be relevant to this new journey. The car has 51,000 miles so I'm hoping someone can tell me what to expect..... Thanks

Congrats on your new ride! I just picked up a 2008 E350 myself (21k miles).

The new Nav discs can be found on eBay...you load the disc in the trunk, on the left side next to the fuses.

Do a search and you can get more detailed info.

My understanding is that 2009 is the best car in that class, as far as Nav system and fewer glitches.

The 2009 navigation DVD can not be copied, unlike prior years, and thus has to be gotten from the stealer! I just checked on Fleabay and there was none

Congrats, you got a good car, how about some pics and options it got!

I believe on the 2009 it copies the DVD to its 40GB HD so some people have bought the DVD and then sold it once that was done as the system no longer needs the DVD after it's loaded.

I believe you can also buy the DVD online, it's $249. Wonder how much the stealer charges?

I have paid the same price as the dealer for it as ordering from Navteq. You only save money if the dealer gives you a small break on the price or Navteq has Free Shipping that week.

Thanks for your response, I guess the other question I have is about system updates for the command system it self? Any advice would be appreciated
