2003 E320 - Possible upgrade to AMG monoblocks

Good day everyone.
I am a new member here, this is my first post, as I just recently purchased a 2003 E320, W211.

- 72k original miles
- Vehicle had a 10 year extended warranty and was always serviced at a MB Dealership, ALL maintenence records available, SBC Issue was addressed.
- Brilliant Silver Exterior
- Grey Interior

The vehicle has the standard 16" inch wheels on it and I would like to upgrade to the AMG monoblocks, STAGGERED. (Or any similar AMG style wheel).
I used to drive BMW and pretty much know everything there, but need to learn much about the Benz.

The vehicle is all original and there are no modifications whatsoever, nor am I planning on making any changes.

Here are my questions in the hopes some of you can provide the answers:

1.) Will both 18" AND 19" inch wheels fit? Which size is the better choice?

2.) What tire size would I need to run in order to be somewhat equivalent to what the sports package car was equipped with? I do not want anything to rub.
Is it 235/40 or 245/40 in the front, 265/35 in the rear?

3.) I am trying to score a used set of monoblocks and I am wondering if the hole pattern between E-Class and S-Class are identical, meaning if I find a set from an S-Class, can I be assured it will fit?

4.) Will newer E, or S-Class wheels have the same bolt pattern and will those fit?

Yes, lots of questions but I hope you seasoned guys will have the answers readily available.

Many thanks in advance.

Look in the owners manual (available online too) for wheel and tires sizes for your car and sport models (E55 E63) these wheels and tires will fit you car as well, and this gives you a good starting place to move on from if you want something bigger or slightly different.

1. Both fit. 18" perform better while 19" look better.
2. 245 front 265 rear fits. I ran this and have a set from an E55 for sale here.
3. Hole pattern is 5X112 on most benz so yes the bolt pattern fits. You need to be careful of the offset and use a calculator like 1010wheels to check.
4. Often the offsets are different on newer E-class S-class models. Sometimes there are replica's out there that look like a new model wheel, but with the offset for an older car such as a w211.

Monoblocks are an older style of wheel (mid-late 90s), and make newer cars look dated; whereas adding a newer style of wheel makes it look fresher - IMO.

THANKS VERY MUCH, I greatly appreciate your detailed response.

I think I will go with the 18" inch set up, just as what you have for sale with the exact tire combo.
I think it will look nice and most likely change the performanc of the car a bit as well.

Thanks again.
