Clank after lower ball joint replacement
Had both lower ball joints replaced. noticed soon after a clank from both sides when hitting a sharp bump or a manhole. Any ideas?

My theory is something did not get torqued correctly.
Years ago with my w203 my grandpa, father and I all were working on my w203 and replaced the rear suspension (shocks, sway bar and springs) When we were done we took it off the lift and drove it to my aunts house for a party. About 5 minutes into the drive it sounded like the rear end was falling off and dragging along. Once we got home we found that we had not torqued one bolt enough and was under by around 10-15NM. Tightened it up and it never made a noise again (over 100k)
You said you had them done why not take it back to whomever did it and ask them to check and make sure they did everything correctly to MB spec.
