How to install LED turn signal

Hey guys, I have a 07 e350 and in trying to install LED turn signals. While most of the world uses traditional sockets Mercedes is always too special. Because the bulb goes into the dust cover and you have to screw that in for the bulbs to work I can't put in resistors. Which means I can't use regular LED bulbs. Any ideas? I'm stuck.

THE C350
Are we talking front or back? sounds like front and you would have to tap into the wiring harness or see if you can find a bulb that has the resistors built in.
What bulb type is it?

Mercedes
The wiring harness has wires specifically for the turn signals, so you could tap into that and add resistors (either resistor running from wire to ground, or inline with the wire).

If you look on WIS, you can find the wiring diagram for the headlight harness.

I've been meaning to try doing this myself, but have been too tied up with other projects.

I wanted to change out the front. Pretty sure you can't change out the backs (even though I wish you could). It's a 3157 wedge bulb. The problem with built in resistor bulb is that there aren't too many of them on the market, and the ones that are available are really bad. Yeah I knew that I had to add resistors somewhere but I just don't know where to find the harness. Not to sound stupid but...what's WIS?

Just to make it clear, it's possible to modify the tail lights in back with LED's. It's just not worth the time and money to do so.

Have you checked with "AZN Optics" here on the forums about those bulbs. I know he does LED turn signal bulbs for the w204 c class.
