Hello guys,

I purchased a pair of E63 seats for the fronts to replace the current ones in my E55. After swapping out 1 seat (passenger), we realized that the control unit is completely different even though all factory plugs are the same. Right away we noticed that Power was not working because of blown fuse. We replace the fuse and it continues to blow the 30A fuse. Has anyone successfully done this retrofit? I understand that the E63 Seat has both Heat and Cooling feature, however since my car only has Heat, I do not need to enable the cooling just yet. I just want to replace my current seats maintaining power / memory / heat. Would I need a new control module or replace the current to achieve my goal here? Any input here would be much appreciated.

Hope hoping it was the E63 module issue but it seems the driver side also is the same issue. I wish someone here would have some input on how to get these seats installed =(
