Pre- Facelift headlights on facelift 211?

Pre- Facelift headlights on facelift 211?
Hi all,
Got pretty badly cracked headlights on my facelift e220cdi
found a pair of cheap original prefacelift headlights non xenon...
would they fit on my facelift car or are the fitments different?

They will fit just fine but you would have to rewire you car and they look different. Stick to the facelifted ones.

when you say rewire can you be specific please? wouldnt my existing plugs just connect to the old style headlamps? would they not have the same connectors?

They changed from having a few connectors on the early cars to one connecter (with HID you would have more) so since you want to go from your one connector back to the older lights you would have to cut off your connector and rewire in the old style connectors to make them work.
