Secondary air injection system malfunction

So I've been driving with the check engine light on for about 2 months now. The code is for secondary air injection pump, I keep pulling the code to see if there is others hiding behind this one. Today I did it and now there's a code for secondary air injection system malfunction. Has me not fixing the secondary air injection pump caused more problems? Any help would be great!

And if you replaced anything previously make sure those vacuum lines coming from the pump to the manifold are routed correcty

Well I changed my air filters and forgot to plug the hose from the pump back into the air box so I thought that was the problem. I plugged it back in and cleared the code and it came back. Fuse was good, so I have changed the relay and that's it.

I would assume your pump may be faulty. But the only way to really decipher what is going on is star. That should be your next step!

Alright thanks for the help. Will it hurt anything if I still drive it unfixed?
