MB 2007 E320 Bluetech
where is the transmission fluid cap on 07 E320 Bluetec
I am about to change the transmission fluid but I could not find the transmission cap under the hood. Please help

There isn't one. You fill the transmission pan from the bottom using special tools. Try googling something like "Mercedes 722.9 fluid change" to find directions.

If you look, dealerships will have specials on trans fluid flushes. I just had mine done for $329. I figured with all of the hassle with the 722.9 trans and needing STAR to do it right. I spent the money without even thinking about it.

There is a fill cap located in the front of the engine. Facing the front of the engine, look between the engine and the fan on the left hand side. There is a little black cap with a small pull up on the rearward part of the cap. This is used to vent and fill the transmission. The g-tronic 722.9 is strictly for adjusting the appropriate level of fluid in the transmission.

If you have a 722.9 and follow Stan's advice you will be very sorry---that is not where that type of transmission is filled--read up before you FU
