E270 2003 Driver seat

Hello! Ive recently bought mercedes E270. It has the massage driver seat with (i dont know how its called) sides that are adjusting to your body. So it was working for some time, massage and adjusting option, but then suddently it stop. The massage button indicator light turns on but nothing happens. But im more conserned about addjusting sides. Sorry for being so newbie about it, but i hope you will get it ^_^ Maybe someone knows the issue? Thanks!

Fuse maybe. If fuse is okay I would check to make sure your seat adjustment pack is sending a signal to the seat motor to adjust. If it is, make sure your motor is receiving 12 volts, i'f motor is getting 12 volts check to make sure your rods in your seat frame are in their desired locations. If those are fine you may need a seat motor!

Thank you for the answear! Maybe by any chance you could tell me where i could find all those things? For example, witch fuse, and where is the motor standing. Thanks!

It looks like you have dynamic seats or seats with air bolsters. If the massage or the side bolsters do not work you must check the pump in the trunk (driver side). Those pumps are problematics, i had mine replaced twice and self refurbished one once.

I just opened the air pump motor. Havent found anything suspiciuos. No hoes melted or smth. Tryed to use the seat bolster adjustment and listen to the engine, but it makes no sound, seems not working. Can it be that i need new motor? Im adding some pictures. Thanks!

You need DAS/Xentry in your life. You are pissing in the wind as to what the culprit to your issue really is. Everything is a guess at this point. With the right diagnostic equipment you can look at actual values/read out faults ect. Guesstimating is gonna get you no where. Especially considering parts for this particular complaint aint cheap by any means...

Of course that's IDEAL, but not everyone can afford to buy SDS. I've solved some issues (dynamic seats for ex) without SDS. But yes, Xentry it's the best way.

It can be the motor or the pump board. Ideally you should have this diagnosed by DAS/xentry. Normally when you unlock the car that motor/pump starts working to fill the air bottle of the system, if it doesn't something is wrong. Have you checked the fuses? Try it.

I didn't tell him to go purchase it. I said he needs it, find someone with it or go to a indie shop somewhere.
