My radio in 2004 E320 does not pick up AM stations. FM works great, CD player works also.

Thanks. No tinting. Does it have two antennas one for AM and another for AM ?

Not sure about two antennas. It does appear that there are amplifiers involved that might bear checking. The following link is for a wagon, but the information might be helpful.
