Any body out there hit restrictor in the e 350 4 matic i have an 08 an this morning got shut down at about 135 -140 on a closed course of course hahahaha

wondering if that varies or if that is normal to hit the governor right about there i guess its time for that ECU mod

135mph is the electronic limiter for me as well, ECU tune should take care of the limiter. Might be something you can modify in STAR Diagnostics too if I remember correctly.

Thanks, it's a pretty quick car for what most people will expect. Unfortunately, as per where I live, elevation kills power up here so I will never know the car's true potential unless I take it to sea level. Surprisingly, up here, it's a beast down low in 1st and 2nd and dies a little bit in third. I don't go 135mph+ often enough to justify taking the limiter off, but I might on my next car.

STAR equipment is not needed to raise the top speed limiter. The only other choice you have with a high end scanner is stock ~135ish or 155 which mine is set to.
