Electrical consumers switched off - sometimes?
I have googled and read many forum-threads but none seem to have helped.
Once a month I get this error message and it disappears by it self after a day or two. It only shows when I have driven for about 10 minutes or more.
I have checked the trunk-battery and it displays correct voltage when car is off and when car is on (charging voltage is correct).
Yesterday the error came back and also today for no visible reason, I had a little AC on and my radio but nothing more.
Information
Questions
Thanks!

Information
- I had it in the shop last week and received a STAR-report. The SBC-unit is to be replaced this week. Can the SBC-unit be the one that creates this error?
- I have some points in the STAR-report showing history of grounding-error: SAM-driver (9020,9033), AGW (D136)
- BSG have error history of codes 9091, 9092, 9070 and 9090
- Battery in the trunk shows "green" on the status-check on the battery itself
Questions
- Can somebody instruct me what else to check other than the voltages?
- Can a BCU software-update maybe fix this?
- If a battery needs replacement which one is it? The one under the hood or the one in the trunk?
Thanks!

Check auxiliary battery (12.2 V), battery control module, and auxiliary battery relay.
BCM function is dynamic load management (consumer shutoff) to safeguard stability of electrical system. If your VIN is listed, have dealer check Vehicle Master Inquiry (VMI) to see if work was completed for SC. If not included or already completed, STAR is needed to check if it is malfunctioning.
Relay disconnects the aux battery when not in use. When needed or for charging the BCM powers up the relay to close the contacts, 2 small pins actuate the relay to bridge the 2 larger ones. Remove, power up to see if the relay does actually switch the contacts.
