where is the air temperature sensor w211 220cdi facelift

do i have a air temperature sensor?, if yes, where is it located?
the car is a w211 220 cdi 2008
it is the same as this

If you are talking about the engine air intake air temp for your VIN--then look to the MAF which senses air intake temp\volume as a function for the ECU.

The one on ebay looks like pre-MAF sensor.
You have engine that never made it to USA and not too many European members here.
Knowing your location would avoid lot of guessing?

Intake Air Temperature Sensor 0005422818 should be located on the intake manifold.
Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor 0061539928 provides manifold pressure information to the vehicles Engine Control Unit (ECU).

Thank you so much, it looks like alot of work, to change it, but i will do it, i guess it is placed under the intake manifoild,is that right?
have any changed it, and knows how long time it takes?
