My passenger side door keeps saying it's open. I recently ordered a new contact switch to replace the existing one and it still is giving me that error.. Anybody had same experience and know what else it might be?

Look carefully at the closing surface---does the switch really close??

I push the switch all the way in with my fingers and still gives me that message.

I tried the same switch on another door and works fine.

Sounds like switching locations solved your problem!!
