How to replace washer fluid level sensor

I am getting a coolant level sensor message. Level is fine & I put in a new coolant level sensor. Next course of action is to replace the washer fluid level sensor as they are connected somehow...

Do I need to get under the car & remove the front plastic pan? Also, do I need to do this with little fluid left? When I did the coolant sensor, I was surprised no coolant came out.

The engine coolant level sensor has nothing to do with the windshield washer level sensor. Why do you want to replace a sensor that is not faulty.

You have issues with your engine coolant(see your last sentence)---fix that issue before putzing around with the washer fluid level sensor.

Coolant looks fine but I will give it another look. See this thread where someone references the two sensor being grounded by the same wire https://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-w211/614772-help-check-coolant-level-already-replaced-coolant-sensor.html

Plutoe - Are the sensors in fact not linked or is the thread I referenced correct?

Did you ever get this taken care of? My mom's car is doing the same thing, and they are wired in series for some reason, probably so they only use 1 sense pin. Most likely a multiplexed signal, hence the weirdness.
