Engine starting issue
Hi
Went away for 3 weeks so my E220 didn't move. When I came back it was didn't start immediately as it usually does, took 3 attempts. I then drove 15 miles to my parents and stopped for an hour, it was even more difficult to start, about 6 turns of the key. On the way home the Engine light came on.
Now, once the engine is warm it will not start at all so I have to sit and wait for it to cool for about an hour. Luckily I have a hand held OBD reader so I plugged it in whilst I sat and waited but it says there are no DTC's and all the data reads wrong.
The Calc Load is always 100%
Coolant temp is 215ēC
MAP is always 255Kpg
RPM is always 25% of actual engine speed
Speed always shows 255 Kph if the car is moving, 0 if stopped.
OBDSup says NO OBD
Bearing in mind that this has happened during a period of not being used, any of you experts have an idea what it could be?
Thanks
Nick

Out Of Control!!
Well if the engine light came on, you therefore have a stored fault that your substandard OBD reader can't read---that's the first problem--get a better reader and post the fault!!
