Hvac blower not working
#3
I did and it came on. A little weak at first then it gained some speed. Put it back on the car and nothing. Took off again and tested it, nothing at all. Voltage was good coming out of the resistor so I ordered a new blower.

His free video on youtube.com gives a sense of what the paid video is like. This guy is great! Knows his stuff and loves it.
His point is that the squeak is often just dust, dirt, and dried out lubrication, so no need to replace the blower to eliminate the squeak unless the bearings really are bad The dust cloud that rises when he hits the thing with compressed air is pretty-impressive, and tends to confirm his theory, as does my experience.

Replacing it is very simple. The only hard part is laying down under the dash. About 10 torx screws and 3 electrical connectors and it come right off. Easy 5-10 mins tops.
