New owner of a W211 E350 Wagon
Officially owner of a 2007 E350 Wagon with 95k miles.
Thanks to a few chiming in, pulled the trigger.
First thing first, I am looking for a good parts source to get parts and do some quick maintenance that I can do. I see that Service C is due in about a thousand miles - and I still don't have a clue what that is - other than estimated 3 hrs.... this is where I think the BMWs are much more DIY friendly than the MB (this being my first one).
I'm thinking Air filter and Cabin filter are must, I think this is just 1 each as opposed to 2 cabin filters on my 5er.
I'm gonna get Brake flushed - I am surprised to see Coolant life is 15 years?
Diff flush - I'll have to see if I can do this.. hoping for some tips on this board.
Spark Plugs - at 95k, I think it's time.
Anything thing else I should do while at it that's DIY friendly?
Another local question:
Any good MB focused shop recommendation near south bay?? I hear M1, but that's a bit far from me at Fremont.
Thanks all !! Excited to get right into this...

Exactly opposite of the E39s.. 1 air filter and 2 cabin filter...
Looks like the W211 has 2 air filter and 1 cabin filter... on my 2007 that is. I don't think I have an indoor cabin filter.
The engine is just CLEAN... unlike my E39, the W211 seems to be well built. Very happy!!!
