W211 Washer fluid leak - need help diagnosing
Hi all,
Noticed the low washer fluid coming on every once in a while even after no use. Then saw the puddle next to front passenger tire.
After reading through some past forum posts, I accessed the wheel well enough to get some pictures and test a few things.
The water is dripping from the 90 degree connector as seen in the photo. If I disconnect the connector, water gushes out of the pump - I'm guessing that's normal. Is it?
I dried up as much as possible to see if I could find the source. The one constant seems to be the connector, but the pump does look a bit wet too.
Should I look at replacing the pump or focus on the 90 degree connector? If the connector, do I have to go about replacing the entire hose? It looks like it bridges multiple hoses together.
Any advice/guidance would be appreciated. Thanks!

Water has a nasty habit on showing-up on low point, what not necessarily is the point of leak.
Before you start seeking new parts, do proper test.
You can wrap the suspicious points with paper towel, or baby powder test can work as well.
I had several problems on new generation grommets, so that would be my wild guess.

replace grommet for pump and washer fluid nozzle line assembly. They get old and brittle and leak. Grommet leaking is common on all mercedes, mostly w211 though. Good luck!

So far so good with W211, although grommets on Bluetec fuel and coolant hoses were dust.
My solution for washer pump grommets was going to junk yard and pull couple from W123. Those seem to last 100 years.
Same on clips on Bluetec, where hoses are hold by 27 years old stuff from W124
