front tow hook location of E320CDI
Where is the front tow hook in 2007 E320CDI? Is it under this cover:
Or as this car has automatic transmission, then maybe it does not support to be towed and this cover hides something else..

I don't think MB allows any towing beside pulling on flat bed.
I did tow older MB regardless and nothing happen on 10 miles tow, but it is your risk.
Those days any bigger agglomeration has a fleet of rollbacks for car haulings, so unless you are in remote area when old wrecker is the only choice, you should not have a problem.
Older wreckers used dollies.
