STAR DVD error with windows 10
After installing Windows 10, I now cannot run my STAR Service DVD Viewer. Does anybody have a clue as to make it work?
I get:
"Autodesk Whip! Viewer" does not exists!
Would you like to install it?
After installation you may restart Service DVD Viewer."
But it doesn't work.
Elsewhere, I've found a thing about "STAR_ServiceManual_x64" registration update but that does not work either.
Thanks,
Peter

OK, does anybody know how to make a STAR DVD work with Windows 10?
Boy, I wish they sold the manual as a book. Those don't seem to ever crash. Maybe I'll put the DVDinto an old PC and print every page. What a pain.
Thanks,
Peter

Curious. I still get the same error message.bwhen I called Mercedes, they said they don't support the dvd and I should subscribe to STARTEK. That costs a whopping $60 a day and $3100 a year.
If I can get an old pc to open this DVD, I'll print every page. I never had an old printed repair manual crash and waste a Saturday wrestling with a DVD.
Yuck,
Peter

I have found the similar problem http://www.benzworld.org/forums/r129...dows-10-a.html by google whch suggests to download two programs , the virtualbox program and 'extension pack' - which gives you USB support - and therefore allows for your virtual machine to connect a printer. For solving more DVD problems, you can also copy DVD to hard drive as digital videos. http://www.videoconverterfactory.com...ard-drive.html. This method applys to most all DVD errors.
