Angry Another Locking issue :@ !!!! among other issues

I bought this w211 bout 2 weeks ago and fixing all the issues the previous owner left.

What concern me the most is that the passenger side door doesn't lock, when I hit the remote or the central locking button it sounds, but does not lock. When I try to lock it and the door is closed, the car flashes 3 times as the manual states, but I can open the door and it does not trigger the alarm :@ When the door is open and I lock it the same sound goes but not the 3 flashes..
Searched like crazy in here and in Youtube for this but no luck, just found the machine gun pin up and down like crazy, which is not my case.. Really would like to knw before taking apart the dooor as it is a pita and the discovering that the fault is somewhere else. took this videos of it.

You\we can speculate all day---find an indy with factory or equal diagnostic software who will find the issue in two minutes---then you attempt to fix!!

“May” be door module, as stated definitive diagnose have someone with MB DAS (diagnostic system) check for fault codes.

Control module shown here: http://workshop-manuals.com/mercedes...rear/page_515/
Remove/install: http://workshop-manuals.com/mercedes...ontrol_module/

motor is whining... module is sending and receiving out/input. Sound to me like a bad door lock actuator. You could remove your door lining and inspect....

Yeah, all of you are right, just wished someone knew exactly, cause opening the door is a pita. Later I'll do it.
